base price

I can understand that stock or commodity prices are determined by bid and offer in intra day trading.

But if suppose I'm buying stocks for years (2-3) . Say for example I'm gonna buy stock at January 1st .I'm not worried about the fluctuations in daily price.so if i buy stock on that day for a 2-3 years at what price they will sell to me?

Is it average price of intra day trading of that day...?

And what is base price & daily price limit...?

If in intraday trading everyone sells their share at end of day mean .who will owing the shares till next day?

Is the closing price of previous day is same as the today's opening price?

Is there a way to buy a stock and sell it when i want.........it can be within a day or within few minutes weeks or even years....?

Form my questions itself you would have guessed ,i don't have any knowledge on finance side.

Hope someone helps me. Thank you in advance.

You will get delivery of the shares at the price it is selling at the time you give buy order. You will get this delivery after 2 days.

There is no base price, Limit is given through circuits, which are different for different category stocks. FOr stocks that trade in F&O there is no limit.

In intra-day shares are never actually transferred so no one has bought or sold them in real, its only on paper and everything is the way it was at the end of the day.

Yes closing price is the opening price on the next day, unless institutions cause change in price before the retail market opens, then it is called a gap up or gap down.

If you want to hold for more than 2 days then get delivery of stock and you can then hold it for your life, it is yours to keep. If you want to buy today and sell tomorrow there is BTST facility. If you want to buy and sell in minutes or hours even then do intra-day.
