relationship between F & O and CM in equities.

Hi Everyone,

I am a regular delivery based trader in the cash segment in equities.

I want to know what is the effect on the scrip in cash segment if it exists in F & O too.'

For example, the scrip GVKPIL is in cash segment and F & O too,

I am holding a considerable chunk of shares. 4000 plus shares in the cash segment of this scrip. Now effective April1 st, this scrip is being taken out of the F & O segment.

what would be the effect???

will the volumes come down???

one more little doubt I had, what abt the daily traded volumes in the NSE website for a particular scrip. Are all those volumes counted in the cash segment????

Thanks in advance.

regards.

The main and big difference will be speculation. There will be less interest in scrip from day traders. But if Company is good there is no need to worry
