Sharekhan intraday limit ?

Hello All,

I am a newbie to all this and i got myself a demat account and i also hold an account with sharekhan.

I just bought myself 2 shares of SUNTV and under limits section on the sharekhan portal i see that,there has been a deduction of rs 155.08 under 'scrips margin',i am trying to understand what does this mean ? what was this deduction about ? I dont see the deduction for the actual shares,the status says 'After hours'.

Does that mean the actual execution is carried out on monday after the market reopens ?

Ys, this will be treated as 'After Hour' and if the price range fed in by you is within the permissible limits of the scrip, this will be placed before the Exchange for executive on the opening of the respective market @ designated time.

I do agree with you on the downtrend with SUNTV.

@rdutt - The order i placed is @market order not limit order,so it means,what ever is the price on the opening day,the order is executed at that price,unless i specifiy the limit right ?

Secondly,I was wondering what is this Rs 155.08 deduction that i see under 'scrips margin'. If i can cancel my order,i see that this deduction is credit back to to the account.I cant seem to find much info on this. Thanks !!
