Is there any free Intraday Nifty Chart with indicators?

#1
Hi All,

Is there any free intraday nifty chart with technical indicators? If not, please suggest a good intraday nifty charting site with very reasonable fees?

I would like to open an account with Zerodha, does this site provide good charting facility with technical indicators for intraday trading?

Many Thanks.

Tradeind,

Before you pay for an intraday charting system, do have a look at Sharekhan's platform. It is one of the best for intraday or EOD trading.

Good luck.

Portcity,

Thanks for your input. Yahoo charts I assume comes with a tick delay of about 5 minutes atleast. Do correct if my understanding is wrong. For trading intraday, realitme tick data is absolutely must.

Furthermore annual manitenance charges for Sharekhan is about 300 bucks, which is well worth the money.

I am trading using Sharekhan charts for couple of years, and the only reason I recommend it, is that it is so feature rich, that I can't even think of trading without it, and in my opinion for a chartist, it is the best in the business. Have yet to see anything to beat it till now. BTW if anybody knows of a live charting and a trading platform similar to Sharekhan, do post. I would certainly like to look it up.

Happy trading.

Hi Reggie,

After your suggestion, I saw the ad for sharekhan (http://www.sharekhan.com/campaign/fast_track/fasttrack.aspx), so decided to see what they are offering. I would like to go in for their @Rs.99 package (Trading Account (Trade Tiger)). Here all seem fine with regards to documents, fees (which I guess is annual?) but they are also asking for a margin cheque for buying shares (minimum Rs: 5000). Is this margin cheque, some kind of deposit? Basically, I'm going for sharekhan as per your suggestion because of its superior charting software.

Anyway, I signed-up and they say their customer service representative will contact within 5 working days.

Thank you.

Hi Tradeind,

I am sure you will not be disappointed with Sharekhan charting terminal. Do take your time to explore all the tools available. There are lots of features (Price alerts for example. You can set a pop-up when you want to buy or sell stocks at a certain level) The charts have more than 15 indicators that can be customised to ones satisfaction, which is more than enough for one to day or swing trade.

Re. margin cheque, ofcourse the broker will require some money for funding the account. This will be credited to your account. Do ask them more if you have any doubts. And if you need assistance with charting, feel free to ask.

Good luck.

Thank you very much Reggie. I'm still in the very beginning of my learning phase in technical analysis, so I would get back to you regarding it in the future.

Thanks again for nice suggestion. I have submitted my documents and they said they will be giving the connection by next Wednesday.
