Reg: Zerodha

Hi,

Having read about the reviews and the lower brokerage rates with Zerodha, I am interested in opening my trading & demat account with them.

However, it is to be noted that their office is in Bangalore only. And I am from Kolkata. Is it advisable to open an account with a broker not present physically in your city?

Please guide me.

Dear Sir,

No problem. They are offering very good service. I am their client for both
Equity - 2 years and Commodities - nearing one year. It is not necessary we
must deal only brokers having office at our place.

Please go ahead with Zerodha. All the best.

@Atharsh

Lol no Sir please.

Actually myself being comparatively new in the market, I was thinking if it might be better instead to go with someone you can have a face to face discussion with.

Anyhow your opinion is highly appreciated.

So all documents, including the blank cheques they are asking for account opening are to be couriered to them? I might just need a little getting used to, to this long distance relationship :p

I had recently opened an account with zerodha after reading good reviews here.
However, my experience was bad. It took them 2 months to open my demat account.
If you are not comfortable dealing with people on phone, look for something in town.
