Beginner : Confusion with broker charges etc.

So I just calculated the broker charges of Zerodha and RKSV using their calculators. RKSV seems slightly lower but then I keep hearing zerodha is the lowest. Am I missing something ? Or is that for larger orders Zerodha is cheaper since their max brokerage is 20 while RKSV keeps increasing.

Since I am starting Intraday with 10,000 bucks, which one is a better option ? Been studying for 3-4 months and I think I am ready.

Also about the charting softwares. If I choose one of these brokers, will the provided tools be enough ? Are they accurate and responsive ? Could anyone point me to free solutions ?

Also how is your experience with yahoo finance ?

With 10,000 bucks, how much Turnover you will do per day & per month? How many trades you will do per day? What will be quantity in each trade? Based on this, you can easily decide between RKSV & Zerodha. RKSV has 2148 per month fix for unlimited trading while Zerodha has 20 per trade.

Also about the charting softwares. If I choose one of these brokers, will the provided tools be enough? RKSV & Zerodha provides NSE NOW & NEST respectively, check their video here: Traderji Post

Also there is special thread for RSKV & Zerodha in Brokers section at here: Brokers & Trading Platforms

For free solution and ***** finanace, there are plenty of threads in Data Feed section, you can check there!

With 10 K budget, you are not trading futures so you have no leverage. RKSV takes away 20% of your funds every month, if your account does not grow, the percentage will be even higher. Zerodha seems like a better option since it depends on number of trades you make. If you make only 10 trades, it is INR 200 or so.

The question you should ask yourself is ...
a) do you see yourself making more than 20% per month?
b) do you see yourself making more than 200 trades per month?

I have decided to with Zerodha for now. Will start with 10-15k. After a month I guess I'll just check my total charges. If it exceeds RKSV's monthly scheme then I shall switch. 10-15k is just a start. I have more but I should get used to trading live before throwing in more money I guess. Thank you all. :)
