i'm a novice in the field on stock market investing. I heard that candlestick charting knowledge of can be of sound help if used properly. I'm barely into few pages of "How to make money from charts" - Ashwani Gujral.
My dilemma is, i rely on money.rediff.com and in.finance.yahoo.com for my charts.
rediff doesnt have the candlestick option, whereas yahoo does, but its so tiny,i can barely make out any difference, the candles appear more like green and red bars? how can i make any decision based on them? The candlestick charts which are in the book are different and those on these sites are different. I need to know where i can find clear candlestick charts?
Oh yes, my IDBI paisabuilder account will be activated in coming week and i hope to start trading, one more question is, does IDBI have candelstick charts which i can "actually" use?
oh yes, i do have an ICICI bank demat account which i made fours years ago, but never used it since i knew little about the markets, also being from a conservative family, they opposed me doing any trading in stocks saying that it is like gambling with your money. :annoyed:
But of late i've seen many if not all my friends having some demat account and diverting some funds every month in them, I too would like to do something like this.
please provide me with your thoughtful inputs
