sharekhan vs angel

Hi! All, i am new to this forum as well as trading. This is really great for me as i want to start in a nice way so i became a member of this site before having a trading account.
I have called Sharekhan as well as Angel trading for getting a trading account. I need your help to tell me that which one will be good. Would like to mention that i only know 5% of trading the world. Please help and also suggest some useful tips for me as beginning. I already read beginner guide here.

go for sharekhan..charts are good..

and trade in a suitable time frame which u like in the alignment with the suitable higher time frame with clear money management rules ..

how do u take sherkhan..? what is the process..? are you opened Dmat and trading account with sherkhan..or other else..as i'm also new to this world...i do know nothing about this....plz tell me..why don't u go for angel..as sherkhan is for low investing...??

i went for sharekhan 2 months
very customer friendly generally
though one idiotic guy from sharekhan hold got hold of no. n called me n told me all sort of crap about brokerage plan ..

though i think angel will have less brokerage

Hi Manish, welcome to the blog. I have been associated with Angel and can share my experience with you. Both the brokers are similar, but I think Angel has an edge over sharekhan. Angel has a good customer care which has addressed my concerns on time. Also, my branch manager is always ready to help me. I get constant advisory calls from the dealers. More importantly the brokerage which is offered by Angel is very competitive. I think you should try with Angel

don't go for Angel, they charge Rs. 30 minimum brokerage per segment. so if you trade in nse, bse and futures, you will end up paying Rs. 90 as minimum brokerage per day. even if you trade intraday for 5000 rs they charge 30rs brokerage. stay away from Angel and teach them a lesson. With Sharekhan you will save lots on brokerage plus you will get Tradetiger which i heard is superior to Odin offered by Angel.

I have been trading with Sharekhan for the past 2 years and would definitely recommend the same. Negotiate with them on plans and you can get a good one based on trading volume.
Also insist that they install Trade Tiger software on your PC/Laptop, a very useful tool for technical analysis.

Hi! Pranjay, I have taken sharekhan because they are providing more facility than the angel. And also they are more popular than any other so it's clear that i am getting better trading platform.
I have used their trading software which is really user friendly and their staff too.

just go to sharekhan website and let your details fill there. In 1-2 days you will get call from their side and you can open equity + commodity account. Initial fee is 10,000 and you will get free first AMC. After that every year you need to pay 400 Rs.
Brokerage charges are same as others....
