purchase of gold etf

I want to purchase Gold ETF in the stock market.Kindly advise whether the present days is good for purchase and if so what is the specific gold etf to be purchased

As per my understanding there is lot of volatility in Gold ETF's. I profited a little over thousand from my Gold ETF. I would not like to make any recommendations on specific ETF's. I checked for ETF's purchased with cash and not on margin.
