NOOB question: How to say thanks to the posts?

Under many posts i have seen that the users have thanked for the posts... i too want to thank some posts which is helping me a lot..... but dont know how to do... can anyone pls help me... pls...

you can find two buttons below your posts (right side corner), one is quote and another is thanks, if you want to thank just press that button and your id will appear below the post which you want to thank.

Thanks for ur repl bro... but for many posts i cant able to see that option...

For example, i found that option in ur above post.. but kindly take a look at the following screenshot... no such option in this post..

If a lot of time has passed since posting has been done then those posts cannot be thanked.

If you still wants to thank post a quick reply instead of pressing thanks button
