Sources for stock recommendation for day trade and IPO recommendation / ratings

Hi,

I plan on getting started in share trading in a small way.

I'd like know from where I can get recommendations regarding which shares to buy today etc. For eg. Which companies shares if purchased will increase and do well for today as well as the long run. Basically what is good to buy for the day and the long run that will make a profit. Can you please recommend places where i can find such information.

Also, are there any good sources for Ipo reviews and recommendation (which tell you whats good to buy and stay away from)

By sources i mean websites, tv channels etc.
