I already have a salary account in HDFC. I wanted to know how is HDFCsec, is their trading terminal good, charges resonable?

Another option I have in IndiaInfoline!

Please please give me your precious feedback.

Hi Shubham, this is the biggest dilemma one faces at the time of entering the stock market. Which broker to choose and what facility do they offer. I personally feel that service provided by the broker must be considered. I have an account with Angel and Im satisfied with their service. They have offered me free software to trade which is user friendly and highly updated. They have a call and trade desk for which they dont charge as compared to other brokers. The limits provided by them are also good. And the most important point one should take in consideration is the customer care dept. Angel has a dedicated team to service the clients and to resolve all the queries. I think you should open an account with Angel and experience their service. The brokerage rate is also very competitive and overall the company is very transparent. I can advise you to take a wise decision and choose Angel as your broker.

If your are corporate salary holder of HDFC Bank Ltd., then there are some very good schemes with HDFC Securities Ltd; for opening the Trading account, where the aoc charges will be reduced or wavied off.

They also have a facility to trade on phone, net and a new one which is recently introduced i.e through Mobile.

For more details you can browse www.hdfcsec.com.

One very important update that even IPO, FD, MF, ULIPS, SIP's can be traded through them.

Dear sham_share singh,
Are you an employee of Angel?
I have seen in many threads you are only praising Angel. What good angel compared to zerodha? Odin gives delayed data? Customer care is not good. I am a customer of Angel. Even after pointing out error in Odin regarding a problem with an info that I am abroad, they write, we tried to contact you but could not contact you. After a lot of mailing it was finally corrected. I have both Angel Odin and Zerodha NSE NOW for watch list.Data is delayed very much for a few seconds and no update in Odin when compared to NOW.
Brokerage is more. In that for low volume RKG is better even taking their software charge. For high volume, Zerodha is better.
Sorry if I have hurt your feelings if you are not really their employee. But you should give the truth for new comers.

Hi lvgandhi, Im a very satisfied client of Angel. Problems can happen in any of the broking firms. But as per my personal experience is concerned Im happy with the services. I cannot comment on what you are facing, might be genuine as well. Even my friends have accounts with Angel and they are fairly comfortable with the services. Im a trader and volumes are high and cos of this the brokerage offered to me is the best in the industry. I think this is an open forum and I as an individual can post what I think is good for new comers.
