How to start learning about stock market

hi,
I m a newbie to this site.I found it very useful.I have been trading in stocks since 2000.I lost a lot.But very recently only i started studying abt mkt.So far listened to brokers,financial advisors,neighbours.So finally i decided to start picking myself.Now i 'm realizing wht big blunders i was doing.........

I m absolutely from a different profession..

I'm starting this new thread for newbies who want to learn abt markets
Which books to read first to understand the basics...which sites are teaching best and from where we can learn abt softwares..

I'm expecting a support from SAINT .....

Could anyone pls tell me with which book we start first...????

you wanna ....Learn ..forget books ....market it self will teach you...

1. Take any one scrip for observation ...
2. start noting its high low close open volume ....daily ...then watch its intraday ...price quotes ...spraeds ....ATP ...
3. repeat step 2 ...for atleast 2 months
4. when get confidence about certain moves of that scrip ...start trading small...
5. continue ...doing above..

Key is observation and experience ... ...keep on noting all values high low close open ..volume ..price behavoir ....Trade only and only when sure about the movement ...dont worry u will get all from observation ...
