Regarding EOD Data

Please help me .. I am kinda new to this thing ..

I want to know one thing. How exactly do these technical softwares like Spider work? And how to we get EOD data for it ?

Before using such softwares, you get used to online charts like in ichart.in etc.
regarding data, you can get it from nseindia dot com, bhavcopy.
