Is Value Pro service equity master worth it? have they done well in their recomendations in the past?

I am tempted to go for the service?

But they are charging 13,000+ so if members know about it please share your ideas and please advise me.

Recommendations having done well in the past is not a benchmark!

In the current scenario, how would you place those past recommendations ? Besides recommendations may have worked in the past...but in the current times, how up-to-date are those giving them ? Thats the moot question!

Hi,
How do the recommendations from sources like in Equitymaster ValuePro fare for a new investor as I am considering to subscribe to it?
I shall appreciate an opinion from any forum member.

I would not recommend it. I'd subscribed to it for 12000/- a year. They will keep on sending e mails the offer for 1 rupee, huge discount, ending 5 pm today, the next day. Offer never ends. None of the stock that I bought from them worked. I'd subscribed to Warren Buffet portfolio. Nonsense!! Eg. I bought NIIT at 75 and ended up at less than 40. See, when market tanks, nothing works. When market moves up, everything goes up. EM portfolio is not immune to this!!
