what is CDSL DP bill charges?

hi,

in india infoline they are charging CDSL DP bill charge monthly wise @ 0.05% of selling amount.. is that compulsory ? why it should be charged? once paying brokerage on buying and selling..

it is charges levied by CDSL for keeping our scirbs. CDSL is the custodian for our holdings. Only India info are keeping the scribs with them. What the other brokers are doing is keeping the scribs with them which is not correct

I read that Angel broking and Sharekhan charge inter settlement charges. It might be the same thing.
You can try shifting the scripts from CDSL to NSDL if they do not charge .That is one option.

no they are charging intersettelment charges seperately.. this is additional charge... i want to confirm that whether other broking house charging that or not ?

I know that Indiabulls charges something like Rs 10 for DP sales and other brokers charge a little higher at some Rs 25 etc. But I think its a flat charge instead of a percentage. Of course it may vary from broker to broker.

I dont think in IIFL, there are any hidden charges...CDSL DP bill is there, u have to pay ..its not percentage..its per transaction..

yaa its a percentage ... charging @ 0.05% of selling value per month.. is that bill is only with IIFL ? do you have account with them ? i didnt find this charge with other broking house...

IIFL is not collecting any annual charges, whereas others are collecting. I have paid Rs.555/-for opening an account with IIFL. No annual charges are levied.
