Shall I Continue this?

#1
It is very pathetic situation, I started trade on 16/4/2010 with the capital of 42000 Rs . I started with intraday and until now doing this. My current balance is 22950 Rs . I lost almost 20000 during this month. And even single day I never get profit. Every day losses. Whenever I am buying or selling the stock, next moment it stating to reverse direction. Now I am very confused and sad,

Can anyone help me , how can I overcome this? Or shall I continue this?

Now I have Bharti airtel 60 nos at the price of 270 rs and RNRL 100 nos at 50.50 rs , not sold because it is very low now.

Shall I Sell it quit from the field? Or continue with more aggression? I want to make money form it . Your valuable advise will boost me.

Regards

Tell us more how you loose half of your capital and why you bought/sell something.

Good you asked it on Friday... Read this document over weekend and come back with a positive attitude. Attitude to win..

I would say... hold your positions... both are good entries... they may take some time but will bounce back sharply

I recall a former boarder in a similar predicament and his response was to to do the opposite of what he was doing. So whatever system you are using try reversing it. Let us know if it works.

Bro,

Ist of all, don't trade intraday...., this is the last step of professional traders..
trade in small qty (delivery based only)

for intraday, just paper trade for 3-6 months and analyzize urself on daily basis, could u earn anything on papers..?, what the mistakes u did, and what decission u taken was right....

when u feel comfortable with paper trade u can start intraday with small qty.

But trust me bro...., intraday trading ..it takes at-least 4-5 years in becoming perfact.

Best of Luck.

Reading the books and applying the logic, might be little tough at the moment. when you enter newly in market, these condition arises. On the contrary, try this as a fresher. Sell when you think its buy, and buy when you think its sell (Joking).

Better paper trade for few days or with least money so that you can understand the logic behind market movement and figure out some strategy of your own.

1st if you are doing intraday why are you still holding the stocks ???

the only way to survive the markets is to follow rules without doubting and to trade with a stop loss. if you cant do this, stock markets are not for you, it will rip you apart.

Thanks all of you,
I was doing intraday, when I saw I could not make profit then I just hold the stock. Now My aim is reach my intial amount.

Now I changed my idea little bit, instead of intrady , I wil hold my position, once it reach minimum 2% profit I will sell. If my stock price will go down I will purchase the same stock and keep my position same as before, so it will consider as intrady, i can reduce the cost. If price go up again after I sold I will get atleast 2% and I can buy some other stock,. Is this idea is good or bad,

Please advice me. Your kind advise will save me lot

Regards

do you keep stoplosses and how do u decide the quantity to trade.
