I appreciate you. Please hold your horses! Visit a broking office daily for two or three months (with some trader friend if possible), before you venture anything.

Kindly browse this forum, sure you will find wonderful resources.

I Wish you all the best :)

Re: Nedd help from trading experts

Hi All
I am also willing to enter into a restricted area and seek the guidence of the experts. I have been going thru the various forums and discussions silently for quite some time.

I have got my demat account with ICICIdirect and have been using it just for investing in MF thru SIP.

bought few shares and a IPO.

Slowly and safely I want to swim thru the sea of daytrading with the help and guidance of expert team members.

1-Kindly let me know how do I start with.
2-how to decide which share to invest in and how much should be amount.
3-should we follow the recommendation of daily newpapers like ET or CNBC or suggestion from ICICIDirect.
4- key points to look in company's profile before selecting.
5- which is best time to start with daytrading session.
6- what is stop loss & could it be placed for both buy as well as sell. with explanation.

thanks

I also joined day trading from Nov 2010.
My experience since then shows it is all much ado about nothing!
I did not make virtually any money in the last one and half year.
I started with about 50000 rs and today I invested into 9.0 lakhs
No paisa profit.

When I go back and see the trades done by me, it is very clear that Had I invested anymoney on the first day and just waited over one year period, ( all
scrips i traded) they would have given me min 200% appreciation.

day trading with leverage money is for all professionals novice like me, it is better to do delivery trading.

Means, Buy a share at market price, keep a target of 5% or 10% profit, and sell them. and wait for the opportunity to buy at a lower again.

So point No:1

Do delivery based trading
Wait for the appreciation of the value for predetrmine target. and sell
Realise profit. and wait for attractive price to come, like strong shares like sbi, they loose 2 to 5% in volatile trading hours. buy at that time and wait for predetermined aprereciation value.

For deciding best picks, take largecap scrips which are best performing and go by that.

To start with take today value as base value, and wait for appropriate market price( may be 2 or 5% lower value and start buying.

This approach surely gives better results.

After doing one year of day trading, i accmmulated more than one lakh loss and I shifted to delivery based trading and sell only on profits motto.
it seems working well, I recovered most of the lasses.

I am not knowledgeable in trend charts and all this stuff. Never sell a scrip in loss. Nevr go to margin money trading. this has given some peace of mind. because of margin money, I am forced to pump in funds to bring it to 9.0 lakh level.

Re: Nedd help from trading experts

You are new to trading and gonna start jobbing with the capital of 50k. You know, JOBBING is a skill which will be done by person who got some experience or training. Your psychology/attitude plays a major role here. I ain't a jobber. I am just saying to a newbie. You can consider this or ignore this, that's your choice.
Start with 5 or 10k initially, see you progress for a month, atleast. Since you are new, don't invest huge amount initially. You need to have low brokerage structure and very good trading platform to execute this kinda trades.

hello dear can u explai in detail pleaseeeeeeeee because i am very new to sharemarket......
Really, this assures you are new to trading. Don't bother much about trading settlement when you are gonna do jobbing. Start with cash and escalate to derivatives when you are successful in cash.

i cant understant what do u wanna tel me...
He says don't jump into jobbing right away. Visit the broking office with whom you are gonna open your trading account for few months. Measure how good are they in various aspects like customer service, trading platform, their reliability etc... He would get some knowledge or idea when you do this. Then you start and run...
