try understanding what is the meaning of 1 tick.
Tick is the minimum price level deonmiation at which a particulat stock can be trded.
In our mkt, for most of stocks is 5 paise. We can't bid price at 1 paise level ..
So 5 paise becomes minimum tick size.. So if stocks high is 450.55 today then 1 tick level above this is 450.60 ...

For some stocks, trading at price level of 1000s of Rs., minimum tick might be 1 Rs.

Atleast this is what I understand till someone convinces me with new knowledge.
Hope this helps.

Okay,
I understand that a tick could mean different to different instruments.

What I'm trying to ask is how to code buy stop on previous bar's high plus one tick.
Since a tick could mean different, so I can't just generalize it by using Buyprice = Ref(H,-1) + 0.01 for instance, because 0.01 is one tick for one kind of instrument and isn't measured as one tick for other kinds of instruments.

I wish I could just code
Buyprice = Ref(H,-1) + tick,

but alas there is no keyword for one tick unit, and I also haven't found the solution

Thanks for the replies anyway.
I'm still looking for an answer.
