Is there any degree or diplomo or one year course on stock market

I was thinking of doing finance MBA distant MBA from some good college , later it flashed into my mind how about doing something related to stock market.

Anybody who is working or worked in stock brokerage company please specify me the job opportunities , i am from bangalore , i have taken stock market exam and my exam is the end of jan, i hope to clear it and get some job in this field

Yes, there are some exams, popular ones being NCFM. More info about this is available on website of NSE (http://www.nseindia.com) . I have not taken this exam, but heard very commonly that they improve your chances of getting a job as they deal with some very practical aspects of stock market operations. You can try a google search for more about this exam.

Not so far from Universities. No formal education

There is a 1 year course PG course (Rs 10k)by IGnou & Financial Techologies which is starting in Jan 2010.You need to submit yr admission forms by 31st dec 2009.

I can certainly suggest some universities abroad which offer Finance courses with Stock Market (Investing and trading) focus.

However, these are full time courses and cannot be done through long distance education.

I will be more than happy to do a full time course, please can u provide me the best of the best college names and the fees i have to shell out
