Lot size matters only when trading in Futures and Options. In cash segment you can trade in even one share. To know the lot size go to nseindia>F&O>contracts

trader trends, seems you have fair enough knowledge in futures and options, I am just starting trading in options, can you recommend any strategies that you use to trade better in options to make profit most of the times?

Dear Spiritunit

You will find strategies strewn all over the forum and the internet. Finally it is not the strategy that makes money for you. It is your mental make up. Something so simple as Pivots or EMA crossovers are good as strategies. But will our minds accept that. Will our minds trade a strategy consistently respecting the rules of the strategy? Will we try not to be smarter than the system? Will we wait for the system to give the signal and not jump the gun? Will we wait for the EMA crossover to happen or will we think the EMA crossover is 'going to happen' and jump into the the trade?

The strategy by itself need to be given only 10% weightage. Our mental attitude needs 90% weightage. Unfortunately every trader has to travel the same route before arriving at the same conclusion.
Trading is one field full of redundancy.
I wish and hope you by pass that redundancy and become successful in trading by focusing on the attitude aspect.
