Stock Market Basics?

Hi All,
I'm pretty new to this stuff. Just last week I got my Demat/Trading account from SBI and I'm finding it overwhelming with all the jargon/terms used.
I would like to know if there any any Good books (specific to Indian markets) that I can read to enhance my knowledge. It would also greatly help if you could direct me to the links if this has already been discussed ealier in these forums.
