Seek some info about trading from Australia

Hello,

I am just a beginner with trading market and getting my head around concepts and theory of it all. I am based in Australia and I wish to do trading on Indian stock market I have called up ICICI and they dont have any dmat account facility for the NRI residing in Australia. Can you guys recommend any bank which might help me in this regard

Even if you can get a trading account as NRI, then there are many trading limitation (like can't trade in F&O, no intraday trading, linking you NRE or NRO account to trading account etc)..
Easiest will be open trading account on the name of your family member who is in india (and won't beat u even if you make some loosing months) and trade on their name.
