Trading from Poland as a Polish citizen

Hello all,

I want to ask if it's possible to trade on a Indian stock market from Poland? I was reading some articles but I'm still not shure if NRI is Indian people living outside of India or maybe NRI are foreigners like me. I'm from Poland, I'm playing on polish stock market but I'm really up to play in India. I want to buy for example some stocks of Tata Motors and play online on day trading? Is it possible for me? Can I do it from Poland or maybe I should go to India to open account? What can I do and how can I do it?

NRI = Non Residential Indian.

I think, as a retailer, a foreigner can't trade in Indian Market. U should take the Foreign Institutional Investor(FII) route. But an FII can't day trade in India.
