Short selling for overnight position?

Hello, i have a question regarding short selling.
I would like to short sell at such high levels.
But can short selling be done only for intraday or can it also be done and kept for overnight continuation?

In indiabulls there are 2 options Cash and intraday.
Now if i short sell in cash the will i be able to carry forward the position for many days or months?

in Cash segment, NO, not at all. You can't short shares for more than a day (till the market closes).

In Derivatives (F&O), yes, but you are subjected to big risk/reward because of fixed lot size (no. of shares) and margin requirement.
