Reg. DEMAT/TRADING Account opening

I am new to this community. I want to open a DEMAT/TRADING Account. I am not going to do Intra-day.
Kindly request you guys to suggest me the best ACCOUNT with less brokerage & online (website) trading.. Friends are suggesting to go for Geojit or Modilal oswal.. Please throw some light...
