Which is the Better Online Trading Platform for Beginners ?

I want to enter stock markets. I am from Mumbai and I have no knowledge about trading as such. I want to open trading account but so many players in this fields makes me confused ! Kindly help me picking up the online trading brokers which can provide efficient and low cost trade option.

I recently started trading, very much new.
I have a sharekhan account for EQ trading, I think it is a fair one. They have a software (Tradetiger) to install so no need of using browser everytime, the software is fast and reliable, it has few tech analysis tools, so good for day trading at begining. Bad thing about it is that they dont have nice help/training material available on their site. I am still finding it hard to do few things in it. When you open an accnt with them somebody might come to you to show you the things, spend few hrs with you and give you small session on trading software, ask for it while opening an accnt.
I looked at the other online trading services, and all of them look the same, they have the same terms of trading used, no big differences as such.
Its just the matter of we understanding the trading terms and market.
Once you are good in that then then you will find all softwares as same.
