For all trading these are the two important question.

We have so many tips from active traders and so many books on analysis and so many formulaes.

I know there should be some kind of summary on all this, if seniors can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Share the knowledge guys,

Now please dont say read the book, learn the analysis, learn the technical, everyone are doing that, but please help on what exactly the learn and look for.

Thanks

For Intraday Trading, determine the trend on Hourly/Daily and then Short at resistance and cover at support or vice versa in the direction of Hourly/Daily Trend.

Thanks bro, any other method using the previous day close

PDC is a wonderful tool for playing NIFTY Future. In a downward trend, most of the time, it'll be the resistance and in an uptrend it usually works as support.
One more important factor to watch is the size of move from day's high or day's low to PDC. If the move size is quite big (>1% at an average), PDC may work as the reversal level. In such scenarios, if any reversal bar pattern appears on 5-minute chart, most probably the market will negate the entire previous move and go in the opposite direction.
Entry is below the low of such 5-minute bar and SL is Highest/Lowest of the following three:-
a. day's high/low
b. break of any S/R trendline on 5-miute chart
c.PDC of sensex.

Check the pivots. Refer to Saint's Teach a Man to Fish thread, there is no better reading available on this forum about pivots.
