Dear members,

I used to trade Nifty Futures intraday only.
I set a stoploss of 15 and targets at +20/+10/+10
Today I did as follows:
---------------------
Brought 4 Lots Nifty @4285, stoploss @ 4270.
At 20 point rise (4305): Booked profit in 2 lots.
Then keep stoploss as Buy price + brokerage for remaining 2 lots(around 4295).
After the price rise atleast 15 points away from my new stoploss then, updates the stoploss by keeping it always 15points below from each highs made by Nifty.

I know there are many problems in this strategy.
Could you please comment, correct and improve? :)
Also please comment about the stoploss for entry in intraday nifty, is 15 ok?

Thank you for all viewers.
Hari.

Dear Friends,

I have been reading views on Nifty on this Website for quite a long time now.

Over the long term it is the macro environment of the economy and corporate
numbers that drive up or down the markets. Nifty, after rallying over 850 points
, from a low of 3795 to a high of to a 4658 is now retracing. If Nifty level of
4285 is held, then we can expect a move back to 4700 and may be higher also.

I feel if someone is medium to long term investor one should buy any fall for next
3 - 6 months as I feel after 3 months people on street will end up saying wish we
could bought around 4250 levels. I feel do not go on Nifty levels on daily basis.,
rather build good portfolio. Support and Resistance are all man created levels so
my advise is to buy Stocks & do not see Nifty on daily basis as most of bad news
is built in the markets.

Vipin
Dear Vipin ,

Thank for your post but, your quoted post is not at all relevant to this thread.
Also you have duplicated the same post many times else where in the forum too (listed the link at the end).
Please withdraw and comment if you have any views on the thread subject rather than your view on trad or not to trade and such irrelevant factors.

Good. But for entering NIFTY Fut what is u r strategy? I use very old & simple one. I use 5\10 MA Crossover to enter trades. Timming will also take key role.
Use this strategy after 12 pm.

I just uses the classic, Tripple moving average crossover in 5 min,3min,1min according to the time of day. Also using MACD, RSI, Stockhastics.

Dear Devangan,

I use E3,E13,E34 MA in 3 and 5 minute charts. Also uses Volume analysis with MACD and ADX to avoid false signals. If you do analyse with the above you can find most of the flase signals. With this setup (with proper stoploss, target and MONEY MANAGEMENT) you can have minimise flase trades very lessthan 25%.

This is the base of my setup.
I am trying to improve this setup...

Thank you,
Hari
