Hello,
can you please tell me how to short stocks???? Do i need to have Margin account for short selling...

OBVIOUSLY.....1:u will need margin in ur trading a/c...
2 ne can also short in futures....

Dear sudoku1 ,

please tell me how can i short in fututres and options market . I am interested in shorting Dlf at the its current share price and covering at Rs 400/-.

Friend, without the knowledge of derivatives, you'll end up losing all your money. It's like playing with your financial future, one big mistake and all is gone.

Please take assistance of your broker for your "futures trading."

Just ask him to short dlf at current price, and ask how it is done, and he'll be more than happy to help you with that.
