Re: Oueries in intraday trading

Hai,

u shall have to square up position on the same exchange.

eg. If u bought shares on BSE u have to sell it in BSE only(intraday).
If u shorted a scrip in NSE u shall have to cover it in NSE only.
What u can do is arbitrage in case there is price difference between prices of any particular scrip on BSE and NSE.

If you had bought some shares and you didnot square off by selling them intraday; no problems. You will be charged brokerage at 'Delivery" rates, which is higher say .25% to .5% as per your arrangement and the shares will appear in your account for which your account will be debited or you have to pay the broker.

Or, if you had 'Sold Short' some shares and the same has not been squared off, The exchange will auction the same on T+2 day evening i.e Monday14th evening at the closing price of that day. Pray that the price goes down in the next 2 days. Plus the penalty will be 20% max.

If the power fails you should contact broker immediately and tell him to square the transaction at a price you want or at a price that is possible
