Monthly uptrend,weekly breaking previous pivot lows,proceeding to make lower pivot highs and lows,buy only when the weekly charts show a previous pivot high being taken out.

Basically we are trying to capture the intermed trend but not too interested if the daily gets into a downtrend......we'd rather sit it out and reenter once the daily gets back into an uptrend.

Here unlike the previous trade.........I want PIVOT HIGHS to get taken out before an entry.

Hello

As per the first post on his thread satyajit uses the trend lines to trade long terms as well as intraday trades. So we can consider this method in both cases

Method: Trading Intraday with 5 Mins Using 15/30 mins as prespective, by SAINT

Method: Trading opening Gaps with High / Low of first 5 Mins Bar, by SAINT

I: Gap UP
Case 1: If the Low of first 5 Min is broken we consider that there is a high probability that the gap will be filled and hence take a short trade.
Case 2: If the High of first 5 Min is taken out we consider that there is a high probability that the gap will not be filled and price continue to rise and hence take a Long trade.

II. Gap Down:
Case 3: If the High of first 5 Min is taken out we consider that there is a high probability that the gap will be filled and hence take a Long trade.
Case 4: If the Low of first 5 Min is broken we consider that there is a high probability that the gap will not be filled and price continue to fall and hence take a Short trade.

Method: Intraday Trading Using Modified Kolkata Indicator

This one has interesting development process.

Asishda presented the forum with a indicator at kolkata meet.

After interaction from Karthik and Kalyan, Asishda also released the code for the indicator.

Discussion on kolkata meet signal

Gautam started using it for intraday trades and with help from RK modified it to give a band based on High/Low instead of close.

With further modifications for trade managment, the system is being used by gautam to trade Nifty Futures, trades discussed in 7300 thread

RK Karnani and Gautam have promised to make few posts with all the relevent details about their method of using this inidcator, will place a link to it once it is done.

Vikram,

In a public Forum it is difficult to impose rules.We have made a pdf of 'Saint's Thread' / 'Karthik's Thread' by deleting the irrelevant posts.Your difficulties is understandable.However ,appreciation is always desireable.
