Can some one have Terminology explained?

Hello to all traderjis
this site has kind of given me a new hobby. and i would be really laguhing if i would make some money from this hobby.
what i would like to suggest here to all senior traderjis that is some one can take an inisiative and explain terminology you guys use in this forum or lets say in trading world,
for instant lets say what is long position and short.
i am sure newbee like me would like to see it. i am sure we can learn it hard way but i hope you seniors dont want us to learn it hard way , do you?

I recommend you this site http://www.investopedia.com which is one stop site for all your queries. It has got complete jargon dictionary with examples. I guess this will be helpful for beginners like us.
