hi..
I see there is a lot of confusion regarding btst. technically if one buys a share & sells it the next day ,there should not be a problem, but what happens at times in such cases is that when one buys shares on day1, and receives the shares short from the exchange, the exchange has a mechanism of 'auction' through which u will get ur shares.
But as is the case here, u have already sold the shares on day 2. now u will have 2 deliver shares before u can receive ur shares from 'auction'.therefore, the shares that u have sold also go in 'auction'.
a very simple solution to this problem is that when u choose a share for btst, continue doing btst in that same scrip for 2-3 days, ie. u sell the share in the morning and buy it back the same afternoon for btst again. this way u do not have 2 give any delivery. after 3 days u can check ur account and then leave the delivery anytime u choose to.
furthar, u should not be charged delivery brokerage from day 2 onwards till the time u leave delivery because u r selling short in the morning and covering the same scrip in the afternoon.

Anurag ji,

How selling a stock continuously for 2-3 days will be profitable ?
Which means every day the stock should open above the previous day close to get the desired profit.
Just one single down day is enough to wipe out the profit expected out of BTST.
Also the delivery charges :(

Could you please explain the stratgey more in detail with rules.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Best Regards,
-JK
