IF you have ICICI direct or HDFC sec account, then you are allowed to do day trading.
You can refer to some thread in this forum to see how it can be done in ICICI direct

For HDFC sec, You can refer to day trading features in welcome page

But, cant the same be said of all types of trading?
In day trading people can loose quickly to be bankrupt,as compared to other types of trading, with flawed systems in place for both d cases,as d trader has to square off within a day, with loss mostly, wherein other cases traders become investors after seeing their holdings going d opposite direction they wanted. Here they can go to d Mandir-Masjid-Church-Gurudwara,and pray to God,which shall be fulfilled,if they can convince Him/Her.This process can take weeks. But in day trading.......;)
