so i dint get it seems most trades are a loss, is there any basis to your buy/sell ?or you do that randomly ? if so, all rules are of no use, 1 st a system is essential...because if your system is proper, many of your rules will get discarded, like the one of once you make profit dont trade... i say this cause this was one of my rules when i started out...

Sir,
my logic to take put of power grid was that i felt that market was bullish thats y it was trading so high (100+). same past history with rpl ipo, which came down 40%onsecond day.
however at that time market scenario was totally different.
bt my thinking behind my decision was -
1. its overvaluation. (mine acc.to sources was- 80-85, e.g.- karvy broker)
2. highly instability in govt.
3. history of fii, wen govt. was unstable in the past.

now ur second query fr buying this scrip
ans- i jst want to safe my money like a fix deposit in good scrip, acc to me this is new one which i cn get in good price (in market crash), thats y i asked.
now cn u give ur opinion?

sorry have no opinion, since 2 days old no tech apply on powergrid but its in huge demand, many who missed the issue are waiting to buy, u may achieve your target if market remains bad, but watch your back, man you were complaining all throughtout the board about your loss, what level have you shorted nifty ? dont believe everything the media says, political instaibility may take longer to play out & shorts would be trapped again if that happen & worse... dont assume, cause this news the whole world is aware of... & even the 1500 hundred pt correction the whole world is talking about... all i am saying is dont get carried away by media...

when i come, he stands up from the chair, and says, yeh dekhiye "sir".

its' so funny, yet so sad! that only person seems to be earnign from me is not me, but my broker!

so, well let's hope i start earning before i lose all the money i don't have!

I suspect your thanks was sarcastic but like i said dont get carried away by media... all bears trapped in believing political problems are imminent, but it takes time to play out, if it will, by that time the shorts get murdered...

I'm surprised at some replies in this thread. The person is posting his trades, and being honest about it, unlike those who claim to make millions day trading but don't really trade and those who sway newbies into the wrong side of trade. He hasn't asked opinions about what is wrong with him, and I'm sure he understands his mistakes and cares about his money more than we do about his. I think this is a good initiative.
Cheers.
