I think this post should be make sticky. It provides valuable information on self destruction....

Somehow I'm starting to feel this entire thing(1st losing 90% of 15lakhs... and now, making 50% in a single day!!) is a hoax! (forgive me if I'm mistaken...)

listen to this advice brother. open your eyes. trading is a profession where you can lose money unlike other jobs where u wont LOSE money even if u dont earn more. u have a huge debt. how r u going to pay that? get a job and concentrate on that. otherwise neither will u concentrate on trading, nor on your job. i dont know how many traders here trade for a living (i do) to talk about great strategies to you. they may be really great strategies, but even with everything right, there may be a sudden unforeseen event like acts of god etc that can create havoc in the market. not to mention, what will u do in case of losses? in such cases others will just wait for their next salaries. or fd interests.

do u think it is easy to change ur belief system so fast that u will forget ur greed and situations and become a mechanical trader (still u may lose money). u may lose even what u have as ur last bit. so from a once upon a time financial planner's perspective, let me tell u, quit trading. if u love it so much, open demo account and trade...paper trade, write blogs...learn ta, but dont trade...till u r in a position to do so, after paying off all your debt. if ur analysis is so good, sell them.

i dont want to write more, but if u have made up this post just for entertainment, as u have also asked for others systems etc (why on earth would anyone do that - if u want to follow others system follow some successful once like chick goslin's, or marty schwartz's or marty zweig which have far greater chances of making money than things posted here), then have fun...but if u r seriously going thru what u have stated, preserve capital...dont trade NOW.

regards

My dear oxusmorouz
If u think this is just a hoax, then think wat u like. I am here for ur advices not for fun.Loosing money isn't any fun.I can not make u to think like me or believe me cause ur thoughts are purley urs.No one can change anyone, this is true but have faith in any system is more important then making stories.
If all fellow members are also thinking like you then I will not goin to post any trades of mine.
AGILENT said in his reply :
In tennis, when u lose ('fault') your first serve, u get another chance, but your second serve is slower (and more defensive), because u dont get a third chance ...
and thats very true.
and wat u say to me , take a look :-
If you have lost 90% of your capital, even if you are to start afresh, taking into consideration a 10% return annually (which traders earn "on an avg" on "normal circumstances" in the long run) reinvested back into trading, it would take you nearly 25years to get your capital back.

I am agree with you, but everyone has its own pocket, with different sizes.I don't know urs.
ThanX again for reply

He is making 5% of 15 lakhs --not 50% --in a single day.

I found this in another thread:

Can you please explain this?
Shobendra, I understand how it is to lose money, but either you take advices or you give em.
There are many experts here such as CV,Satya,Agilent,Beginner and others who can offer you a lot of knowledge (and have offered you a lot already) and I don't think you've followed 1 sentence of what they'v said. You're still trading with your preconcieved notions and thoughts and what you think is right...
and from what I can see, you are either lamenting about what has happened (lost trades and own recos not followed) or dreaming about the millions you hope to earn...

Kgsirasangi,
Earlier in this thread, he mentioned that he had borrowed 15lakhs out of which 90% was erased...
that leaves you with 150,000 and 76000Rs (which he has earned today) is approx 50% of that...or am i wrong?

Now I know why this thread is rated 5 stars

Someone can write a short story on it (names hidden of course) and make a best seller out of it

Why ... Someone can even make a movie on it (remember that Film Producer from Kerala who wanted to make a movis on Paris Hilton because she said she will not have s** for one yr ... he wanted to portray her as Mother Theresa ! ... wonder what happened)

My oh My ... what entertaining people we have in this nation !

Makes life interesting ... agree ?

oxusmorouz,
Your calculation is perfectly ok.
This kind of gain is possible in day trading provided we correctly trade a scrip which is in good trend, as shobhendra has done.

shobhendra,
You have chosen the scrips for trade very correctly. Please tell us your methodology of choosing.
Thanks
