Hi Vijay,

Thanks for the reply and pointing me to that post. :thumb::thumb:

Actually, i was looking to create a sound alarm when green turns to orange in band1 and blue turns to red in band 2 at the same time(from the code you posted). Currently, there is alarm when code turns from red to blue or blue to red only. Market moves very fast in 1 min especially and this sound alarm will be very handy.

Would really appreciate if you could help me out in this regard.

Thanks so much :)

According to my observation simultaneous change of both ribbons in price pane as well as the15m obv ribbon, in OBV pane has a higher probability of it being a success trade.
Can sound alert be done for this.

Thanks.

Bhai the thread u mentioned has hardly 3 posts, whereas the "real" obv thread has >3,000 posts. :p

Real trading and explanation was done in varun ji's thread.

Out of those 3k posts, I think only Tuna, xray, wisp, vjay, ST, Happy, understood the system..
EDIT: Monkey business also understood.
Rest all might be Jumping into other systems.. :D

TraderRavi bhai said correctly - "Jab koi naya system lata hai, Kuch din ke liye bhid jama hota hai, phir gayab ho jati hai, phir koi aur naya method layega, fir bhid jama ho jayegi and the cycle continues " .:lol:
well, i understood the concept !!! can we validate each point to trading ??? answer is mixed and i just picked up what suits the market

just remember price attracts volume and volume propels the price !!! :D

always remember picked setups should be back tested !!! then make a MM rule, basing on that ..only topic which is not covered extensively is back testing and how to amalgamate trading system to get the best possible synergy !!! :D...until this part is known TR bhai words will repeat !!!

Absolutely XRAY27. Until we define a set of rules (encompassing an idea. idea could be anything) and backtest its viability in few market cycles, it is very difficult to muster the confidence to pull the trigger in live market.

There should be no ambiguity in the rules and entry/exit trigger. Take whatever you want, say 20/30/40 points of Nifty will not work. It will look wonderful in hindsight but when we are in real market, we cannot use our mind to figure out the exit. TSL based on previous pivot is OK but we cannot come out of the market at our will. Random exit points will not work in long run. As we all know, exit is more important(much more actually) than entry and if we have discretion there, it will take a heavy toll on our trading psychology.

PNB (spot) : Has open=high. The price had a 36/200 bearish crossover, but not yet on OBV.

1) Is a short possible here ?
2) When ?
3) How much quantity ?
4) Single trade or staggered short ?

1. tp sirji maine kia tha short .. 0.70 point mila zyada nai ..

Unionbank (fut) shows huge volumes traded at 10:52am at Rs.156.15-20; TradeTiger also shows the same. Wonder what it means.

2. union bank maine kia tha short 2:00 ,,, 1 point mila.... aapka system kya kehtha hai TP sir ?
3.vijkris ji .. was this a valid short with your advanced method on pnb and union??

PNB : I shorted at average 148.07 and covered at average 147.83

Shorted from 147.8 to 148.25, covered between 148 to 147.6
Should've held longer because it went down to 147.15 later, but also spurted to 151. Wasn't really a day for shorting but that open=high attracted me.
