About the User Reputation System

Its nice system.

i use a similar thing on a porn board. there no one's there to bring others down or promote crap. so no intentional +ve reps or -ve reps. post good pics/vids, get good reps.

here already many are complaining about getting -ve reps. so funny!

i want to give lots of reps to 2 people only (so that they cross 2000), but spreading problem. have to search for some non deserving ones to remove spreading probs.

Maybe it has been limited to posters with X no. of posts since I am still able to give -ve reps.

seems good work. should continue until many complains. I likee the system. Everybody has their own views on the markets. ONE should get rewards for good work SHARED .

How to gain reputation points ??

This thread was almost silent , since past 1 year or so , But now i think it needs to ask traderji and other senior members HOW TO GET REP POINTS ?

Coz i have been seeing , i may be wrong , but reputation points giving is now became like group exercising , Perticular members r increasing rep points with the help of friends , without bothering the quality of the posts but only on the qty of the post. The maximum numbers of posts are happening , its good for the site but what about some quality posters like Saint or Ajax or Sir CV ? ( if i forgot senior contributors name , do forgive me as its not possible to mention all . i respect all over here , senior or junior ).
So traderji , is there procedure , by what moderator himself can give rep points , if he finds it wealthy enough to be in forum.

Coz tomorrow if i want to increase my rep points , i will simply keep on registering with diff ids , or will call up my friends to keep on adding rep points to me , whether i deserve it or not.?

This issue must be discussed , hope seniors will come up to clear my doubts.

Keep things in heart wich hurts others..but never try 2 hurt someone by keepin something in ur heart.......

We are in a democratic country. One Vote of Ratan Tata is equal to one vote of some nobody cleaning the streets of some unknown village.

But I find that illiteracy is responsible for the wrong people getting elected, and we keep talking about ministers with tarnished images. That is on the Political scene.

Likewise, illiterates in this forum can defeat the very idea of this rating system.... and by illiterates I meant those literates who do not have sufficient knowledge of the market, it's various segments and the various analysis techniques.

This system shall gauge ratings based on popularity than the guidance, if any.

Member like I, would like to stay out of such ratings in totality, and in my opinion, should be given a chance to stay out, if he/she wishes so.... my opinion and I could be wrong. But my request stands!
