Hi

I have been running experiments on amibroker and ended up creating test database.

I was wondering what is the correct way to delete database from Amibroker

I tried to do it myself but there is no option inside the software to do so. I also tried the user guide and search index there is no such option

I also tried to delete it from my Program Files -> Amibroker -> Database name i gave (testdatabase) when I open amibroker it will make test database again even after deleting it.

I have 3-4 databases that i created for testing purposes.

Please advice

You should just delete the database directory using Windows explorer.
It will disappear eventually from AmiBroker once you open other databases
because the list in the file menu shows just eight recently opened databases
so if open other databases the old one will be replaced by new ones.

Unfortunately I tried that (from windows explorer) as mentioned above, when you open amibroker software it is created again, I only have 4 databases

Deleted database re-appears because you have it selected as your default
database. When you load AB and it finds specified default does not exist it
creates it again!

So for now just change your default database to one of the ones you want to
keep.
