How to remove weekend gap from daily data.

Hi Friends,

I am new to amibroker. I am having one issue with data display in amibroker. I use eod bhavcopy for that purpose. I want to remove the weekend data that are displayed in the chart. I also attach a screenshot.

Also do my calculations are affected with weekend data?

please help thanks

I tried with EOD data (no IEOD) that has Sunday data and it works fine here.

Upload a sample data file you use. Go to database folder and to the subfolder with letter of your symbol and copy that file and upload. I wanna try.

amibroker >> symbol >> quote editor then select the weekend data and delete them.

you don't need to edit the whole data. only select the data( which you marked) from the quote editor list and delete.

Go to Database settings, intraday settings and then in time change from to as 0915 to 1529.

All unnecessary quotes will be removed from chart.

View-->uncheck non padding days .. It seems to work. I get rid off the weekend holidays. Those non trading days also seem to influencing my analysis

thanks for all the support

P.S Wondering if EMA(C,20) that include 20 days trading average or including weekends in the calculation.
