As the name suggests, you can simulate the 'past' trading action of any script, for backtesting, learning, etc. For eg. if you have got EOD data of Infosys, then you can start from Jan 2006, and you start the simulator. You can make the daily bars to appear from jan 2006 at some interval say 1 sec. So you will get one OHLC bar per sec, where in you can test your indicators, how they are behaving, your strategies, etc Just try it, and you can know it better. Praveen.
