Hi amibroker users.

Until now I was using NSE EOD database in my Amibroker. now I want to add historical BSE EOD to my database too. but having some issues.

I want to create two markets in Ami, as NSE and BSE.
My NSE list is complete, but if I add a bse symbol into it, for example BHEL into market 'BSE', It diapers from Market 'NSE'.

Here is my EOD.format

$FORMAT Date_YMD, Open, High, Low, Close, Volume, Skip
$MARKET 2
#$OVERWRITE 0
$SKIPLINES 1
$SEPARATOR ,
$CONT 1
$GROUP 255
$AUTOADD 1
$DEBUG 1

from the help:

There are two types of categories:

with mutualy exclusive membership: groups, markets, sectors/industries, GICS - it means that symbol must belong to single group, single market and single sector/industry at a time. You can move the symbol from one group/market/sector/industry to another but you can not remove this assignment - you should create "Unassigned" group/market/sector/industry instead and move 'unassigned' symbols there.

with free membership: watch lists/favorites/indexes- it means that a symbol may belong to ANY number (including zero) of watch lists (and to favorite/index category too). In this case you can remove this assignment by Watch List->Remove

If you have already seen it why do you ask then and start to wonder why it disappears from one to another market?

How many symbols are in NSE and BSE? Then create watchlists for NSE and BSE if you need multiple memberships and in Market category change from "NSE list" to "Indian Market". Or set same symbol names that have two memberships in BSE and NSE to different symbol name for BSE membership and add symbol name of NSE to ALIAS field of BSE name. Then both symbols of same type should get updated with same quotes.
