I am struck at the first stage itself

I have downloaded and converted NSE and BSE Bhavcopy for one month using EOD-downloader.

1. Using File-> import Wizard i have downloaded NSE data
2. All the data reflects under Symbols-> Market->NSE
3. Now when i download the BSE data, These data are also getting added under Symbols-> Market->NSE only. (I mean with this both the NSE and BSE data are getting mixed. I can only differenciate the symbols by its extensions .BO for BSE and .NS for NSE)

Kindly advice me how can i import such a way that, The BSE data should reflect under BSE folder and NSE data reflects under NSE foldern.

Thanks in advance.

--Raurs.
In Symbols>>Catagories>>Markets, create NSE & BSE.

From Symbols>>Organise Assignments>>Markets, select the stocks on left hand side and move to corresponding NSE or BSE folder. This is a one time activity. Once done, you can browse these 2 categories.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Abhay

Perhaps ADX indicator is sometimes is perplexing since
it needs the STRENGTH OF THE TREND rather the
NATURE OF THE TREND.I just avoid it.

@colombus

thanks for reply

i use small technic to find the strength of the trend

just open yaaho finance chart with candle sticks and with out any ema, ma lines etc

it has no of horizontal lines showing the index points and verticals lines showing time.

when the horizontal line difference is 10points it is high volatile r trend is in confusion n moves in both direction.

when the difference is 20 points medium strength moves in one direction with little confusion

the above two points can used for trade with the help of rsi n stochastic

when the diff is 50 points market moves in one direction n
3,13,34,55 ema set up works better this day is the strong trend setting day

i used this 50points day n make 100% sure profit of minimum 100 points these day comes 2-3 or 4 days in a month

try this n say ur opinion

but my need is feed for amibroker frm yaaho finance
can u help

thanks in advance

EMA crossovers certainly will help.Apart from this ,I think one can use RSI and MACD/MACDhistogram also.Good to know you are making 100% profit.
