It doesn't matter where you extract the data. Because while importing you can specify the extracted file path location. Please refer to the set up details in the link which I've posted in the previous post. That should sort out your problems. Praveen.

no u dont have to....extract in any folder...when when u open amibroker to import, click import wizard -> pick files button and then select that folder and then double click on the file name. press next and continue.
