all user's of amibroker i am very new to trading i am buying the amibroker software my doubts are
1. can i run it on my PC AND Laptop.
2. should i buy the data from data vendor or download from free sources.
3. if i have intraday data then will i be require the EOD data also.
kindly help.

Dear Kamal

U can definitely use it with both your PC and Laptop.
I don't think u will need to buy data from a vender if u r a beginnier.
U could use software named "GetBhavCopy".
U could get more info about this software and how to load data to amibroker by searching on this site.

you can use MansiRT by sunny for real time....search this forum for links, at present this software is free..
RT = real time data
EOD = end of day (open, high, low, close of that day only)
IEOD = intraday and EOD
Historical = old data

There are many ways but you need to know where you are getting it from first. Then you can set it up. Where are you going to get data from???
