Thanks

hi friends, I recently seen this thread and it is very good Idea to see companies profile and all in a single window.

the links provieded by the other senior members don't work for me (don't know why)except NSE.

Now plz use this link to not only get profile, Quote or otherthings but Balance sheets also.

http://www.moneycontrol.com/stocks/cptmarket/compsearchnew.php?fname=price&companyname={t}

It works for me like anything.

Give it a try and if possible(good or bad) give me ur feedback.

and If some one know something more then, let me know.

I will tell u the steps but first tell me Wht format of names u use.

I asking this Because it only works in amibroker if U use only name.

Like for IPCL>> IPCL only . If u use IPCL.NS or IPCLEQ then u need other link.

One more thing--

don't go into VIEW. I also not have PROFILE there.

USE this--

TOOLS>> CUSTOMIZE>> WEBPAGES>> NEW>> Then copy paste the link in the Rectangle URL box.>> Desription-- write PROFILE.

But this all serve the purpose if U use sybols straight forward.

no EQ or .NS

plz kept this in mind.

by this way wht happens at my end is staright tht MONEYCONTROL webpage get opened which is having all required information.

U need not to go to SYMBOL INFORMATION then.

if still not clear then ask.

I always here.

cheers

Thanks Chinatan,

I have symbols without the .NS , I added web page URL
TOOLS>> CUSTOMIZE>> WEBPAGES>> NEW>>

http://www.moneycontrol.com/stocks/cptmarket/compsearchnew.php?fname=price&companyname={t}

also I updated the URL in NSE Market in the SYMBOL->Categories

to enjoy the PROFILE view , I opened the Symbol Information , Nothing had happened to me

Kindly guide me if my step is wrong

hi sunil, U need not to do anyhting with PROFILE. remain it as it is.

If it is not working then again go the Customize >> webpage>>

this time select the URL which i had given to u.(just click on it).

and select "UP" Button. It is there in the same box.

keep clicking UP button till the selected URL not come at the top of all.

once all this happened then close it.

Now open any script eg. IPCL chart in AmiBroker.

then go to

FILE>> NEW>> WEB RESEARCH.

rest u know wht to do.

I am using this from last one week and experience is awsome.

I have KAMATHOTEL earlier which i about to sell Yesterday at 176.

But just to see any reasone I used the site and come to know it is MULTIBAGGER.

the script get locked at 181 at the end of the day.

Nice, I am able to view the profile. Just I got struck without accessing the New->WebResearch.

Really the Interfacing brings a Good option to read the fundamentals and other peoples comments handy

Thanks for your reply and dedication

Hi Chintan;
Thanks for the url....

Prior to this I was using the following urls to get data from nse /bse.
http://www.nseindia.com/marketinfo/equities/quotesearch.jsp?companyname={t}&submit1=go&series= EQ&flag=0

http://in.finance.yahoo.com/q?s={t}

http://www.bseindia.com/price_finder/stockreach.asp?scripcd={t}

Urs is altogether in one link. (only needs to open page after page).

Regards..

Hi ger06, Erlier I had also used Nse and Bse links.But the problem was u not get 1.Analyst recommendations.
2. wht others are thinking abt the script (Message Board).
3.Any news or annoucemnt.

In NSE and BSE u have to start all this frm strt.

But in Moneycontrol U can see all this at one go.So i prefer this.

also NSE bse sites are bit slow when Market is open.

But I must say to u and others try to be More Creative and Innovative to

find More And New Information.

cheers
