Hi MP,

result is not a reserved word nor a predefined variable in AmiBroker, It is a user defined variable. It can be used without initialising as in the case you cited. The first time it is referenced it gets initialised. The problem comes if it is referenced outside the function in statements other than calculations, such as Plot command.
