As far as I know real time quote depends on data provider, so you will see realtime qoutes in amibroker only if the data provider gives it

like i am using shareguru as data provider, so there u can see realtime quotes in their application but I could not see it in amibroker

And have you added symbols to the real-time window?? If you don't add them it stays empty.

Instead of saying that something doesn't work better say that you are incapable to get it done. Then there is more truth to it.

Dear Sudris,
Good Morning,
Consider previous day high and low. Next day if scrip opens anywhere below previous day high and during trading if the price approaches at 99.9% of previous day high, i want to generate an alert in Ami Real Time i Alert View. Contrarily if scrip opens above previous day low and during trading if the price approaches 100.1% of previous low, I want Ami to generate an alert in Alert View output.

Hi DETWO,

Yes, I have tried to add to the RT quote window.But it is not working as the option in the dropdown menu for it is grayed out(disabled).I think Manojborleji has given me a clue.It is probably the dataprovider issue as I am using excel to get the quotes from NOW(it is the utility developed by Josh sir).Also I am using Amibroker trial.Could this be an issue?
.I will switch dataprovider and see what happens.

Thanks a lot for givig me the clue.I an using "nse-now-rt2.1.xlsm" utility to get the RT data to Ami.This excel utility is developed by Josh sir and works fine.But may be it does not support RT quotes in Ami.Also I am using Amibroker trial.Could this be an issue.

Then it is imported by OLE, I guess? If it is not imported by real-time plugin or DDE then you won't see any real-time quotes in real-time window. You won't see any real-time quotes when using Amiquote's one minute data import also.

You need a streaming quotes plugin

yes the data is imported by OLE - so u wont get the real time quotes in real time window. for getting that we have to go for GDFL data - they provide it

Thanks for settling the issue ,so I need to use some RT plugin to get the RT quotes.SR114 has also confirmed that(thanks SR114).
