Amibroker ?? or some other software.

I am a new trader. i am using trade tiger of sharekhan.
No software , nothing else.

Have been listening a lot about amibroker and meta....

Are these really good ?

What and how many softwares i need for day trading ? please guide.

Actually i don't know to use technical indicators.
Thats why i was thinking that i use some free charting software and learn on it .
CAn you please tell me any free software with live data.

i have amibroker trial version, will that do the work, but it doesn't save settings.

y dont you try pointer software of ventura. Nice software, not a freeware need an account of them. Even a small one of inr 1000/- is thr.

If you are satisifed with EOD data, you could try the free Chartnexus available at www.chartnexus.com

They provide 3 year EOD historical data for BSE/NSE and it has basic indicators build in along with drawing tools.

The EOD data can be updated daily. Cons of using the software is inability to add your own programmed indicators and backtesting.

This software supports EOD only.
